raleigh "odd" merit w. (they/them) is an artist/cartoonist living in Canada, awaiting their last semester at university until they graduate with a BFA in fall 2022. they make comics, illustrations and stories about how people relate (or do not relate) to each other and "the other" through human and nonhuman subjects. they work in digital and traditional processes around painting, drawing, and occasionally printmaking.
additionally, raleigh is currently shooting for a minor in work and labour studies, with an emphasis on studying queer labour and union organizing history. this academic studying ties into their art in exploring relations between different groups of people, including worker-employer and worker-worker relations.
