hourly comics day
Hourly Comic(s) Day, which is traditionally held on february 1st every year, is a day where people draw and upload an image or comic for every hour they are awake. usually, but not always, these comics are about what the artist has been doing that day. i have participated in HCD since 2018, but the event goes back to 2005, in the LiveJournal days. i participate because i like looking at other people’s entries and want to contribute something for other people to look at as well. other people’s Hourly Comics Day entries can be found on just about any social media site under the hashtags #HourlyComicDay or #HourlyComicsDay.
i still don’t know if “comic” is meant to be pluralized, and i hope i never find out.
